It doesn’t take hitting something solid either, just hitting the water the wrong way can ruin your day, possibly even your life. Even hitting the water wrong on a 20 foot can put you in a world of hurt! So play it smart, don’t go out and try this just to be cool, you will regret it.
It’s that time of the year, summer is pretty much here and it’s time to suit up and get right with god!
Serious cliff jumpers will be scouring the wilderness for the biggest and best jumps possible. One of the best places in the U.S. for killer cliff jumping is the Northeast. Vermont, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Though there are great spots in all 50 states this map features some of the better places to dive, or jump. The only problem with many of the mainstream jumps is that they are normally crowded during the summer months, which isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes it pays to get off the beaten trail and explore a little though, you never know what your going to find.
